As a collective, we focus on creating classic cuts that remain desirable over longer spans of time, inherently reduce the desire of greater consumption. We believe in developing cult silhouettes, a principle embedded in our design practices since our original collection. This philosophy has naturally led to smaller collections featuring more sought-after garments.

Since Cultira's inception, we have prioritized sourcing the highest-quality fabrics to ensure the longevity of each garment. This commitment has led us to utilise Carvico’s Eco Lycra, developed from experts with 60 years of experience. Founded in Italy, Carvico has earned global recognition for its dedication to quality & innovation, specialising in stretch-resistant fabrics. Cultira’s fabric curation remains highly specific, with our garments visually distinguished by their fine sheen.

In-house we are focused on developing pieces to the best of our ability offering a curated selection of Cultira that speaks truthfully to the brand & our beloved clients. Each piece is considered & trialed by our team in advance of launch to ensure the pieces reach our expected standards for fit, quality & aesthetics.

Our code of ethics is grounded in care at every stage of our supply chain. We prioritise ethical practices & sustainable operations with our partners ensuring our respective skilled makers are offered fair wages & safe working conditions. 

Our swimwear is crafted in Indonesia, where we have built a long-term relationship with our collaborators. All hardware & accessories are crafted across Asia specially sourced by our team to ensure correct standards are met.
